first post in years

I think this is my fifth blogger since 2007, and I have yet to keep up one of them, so here is to hoping.

I'll mess around with the template when I have more time, obviously. I think I spent six hours making the custom template for my previous blogger. And I have also been dinking around on this laptop for 4 or 5 hours now, customizing it.

I recently got a new laptop for my birthday and I have been "setting it up" so to speak. My old HP laptop had finally bit the dust, and the little guy held up for 3+ years.

His trials and tribulations are as follows

* having both beer and water spilled on the keyboard (replaced it twice)

* my gf accidentally kicking it down 2 stories of montreal stairs (you know how steep those are)

* the top of it totally being tagged (but completely cleaned off when I sent it in. Still have no clue how they got it all off)

* 1 motherboard, 1 wifi card, 3 battery cords, all replaced

Goodbye old friend.

I have an early morning tomorrow, and I am volunteering at The Royal again. I got an email saying they just bought a bunch of art supplies for Melissa and I, so I am pretty stoked.
